It’s been a long journey over the past few weeks but we’ve finally finished recording on set. Our last recording took place at Richmond Road and was outside. This was compromising as it was an incredibly cold and windy day which made audio recording extremely difficult. We tried the same techniques as at West Common but again it was too no avail. We used the boom mic and the radio mics as references but we knew the takes would have to use ADR.
It’s been a wonderful learning process and we’re looking forward to starting our post production where for us, it’s really when the sound in the film starts coming together.
We’ve arranged ADR sessions with the actors over the coming days so we’ve booked out the Sound Theatre and are looking forward to using it!
