It’s great to finally have a script to work off, as it is currently difficult for us audio production students to get fully engaged in the module yet as there is little practical work to do. Now we have an idea of what the film contains we can imagine what atmospheres, spot effects and music we can create / use for the final piece. In doing so, it also gives us the opportunity for further research. As the topic I have designated myself is the music side of the process the majority of my research will be in this field but it will also overlap into other different aspects of film recording as I aim to have a greater understanding of the process as a whole.
I’m looking forward to getting stuck into my research and the project as a whole in the following weeks.
