On 27th November we returned to Temple Gardens one last time for the epic last scene of the film. This scene involved Faith’s character pushing Ollie’s character over and he would smash his face on glass. This was quite demanding in terms of audio as there was lots of movement and three actors were involved so we turned to the radio mics again for support with the Boom Pole. We took it in turns with our roles again and recorded the audio as well as we could. The majority of it was fantastic but some may have to utilise ADR.
We went through our normal processes with sound and we have become so accustomed now it is almost second nature which shows how much I have learnt and developed my understanding of the project.
The shoot was made even more exciting by the cut Olli was supposed to get on set. For this, we hired a professional make up artist and she came on set and applied the make up to Ollie. The results were amazing and it made for a great shot that I hope we can do justice with audio.
We also recorded a scene in Ben’s bathroom on the 29th but as it was for the opening scene which just featured music there was no need to record audio so we were not required. Also Ben was there and he kindly said he had it covered it anything was needed.
